OUR TRIPLE GOAL
The Triple Goal – to comfort, assist and instruct, are the instruments to achieve the AIM of being attentive to the needs of the sick and revealing the compassionate love of God.
‘In serving the sick, both at home and in the hospital, the aim is to lead them to experience God’s Goodness and total abandonment to His love at the time of death.’
To Comfort-means to be ready to meet the other in the concrete situation, creating an atmosphere of loving presence in which the person feels accepted.’
To Instruct means to accompany the sick towards accepting their reality of limitations in the light of faith, a faith which assures them of God’s loving care and make them feel precious even in their state.’
To Assist -means lovingly offering a personalized support, attentive to their needs and win over the soul of the sick to lead them to ultimate Reality – God.
The dignity: Each person is made in the image of God, and has inherent dignity. He/she should be held in great esteem and respect.
Truth: Transparency and accountability will always be pursued in our communication and work.
Love: Love will be the chief identifying characteristic and element of our work and life.
Common Good: Dignity, unity and equality for all people.
Freedom:We will always assist, support, respect and affirm clients, staff, volunteers and others.
Solidarity with the Poor:The most poor and vulnerable persons need our service most
